Product Update — June 2025: Paperless Queue Display, Thai Language PDFs & Online Booking Improvements

June 2025 brings a feature clinics have been requesting for months — a fully digital queue display that eliminates the need for printed queue tickets. Alongside this, we have expanded language support for Thailand-based clinics and improved the online booking flow for a smoother patient experience.

New Feature: Paperless Queue Display

The new Paperless Queue feature lets your clinic display a live queue screen in the waiting area — on a TV, tablet, or any screen connected to a browser. Patients see their queue number, current status, and which room to proceed to, all without a single printed ticket.

Clinics that have switched to the Paperless Queue report a noticeably calmer waiting area — patients stop approaching the front desk to ask about wait times because the information is right there on screen. It also reduces paper costs and keeps your reception counter free for actual patient interactions.

Easy Setup, No Special Hardware

Enable the Paperless Queue in your General Settings and open the display URL on any screen in your waiting area. It auto-refreshes — no app installation or dedicated hardware required.

Thai Language PDF Support

Clinics operating in Thailand can now generate invoices, receipts, prescriptions, and reports with proper Thai character rendering across all PDF documents. Combined with existing Thai interface translations and localised address formats, clinics in Thailand now have a fully localised experience from patient registration to billing.

This is part of MedicalMet's ongoing expansion across Southeast Asia. Our growing base of clinics in Thailand, from chiropractic centres in Bangkok to wellness clinics in Chiang Mai, can now operate entirely in Thai without workarounds.

Online Booking Improvements

We made several improvements to the online booking experience this month. Patients now see more accurate practitioner availability when selecting time slots, and clinics offering group sessions — such as group physiotherapy or wellness workshops — can accept multiple bookings per slot more smoothly.

Quality and Reliability Improvements

This month also includes improvements to treatment note template loading, role-based access controls, report accuracy, and Thailand address localisation. These ongoing refinements ensure every part of the system works reliably as we scale across more clinics and more countries.
