January 2026 opens with a significant e-invoicing upgrade, smarter booking forms, and expanded language support — continuing MedicalMet's commitment to making clinic compliance and daily operations as effortless as possible.
Consolidated e-Invoice Submission
Clinics can now submit consolidated e-invoices to LHDN through MyInvois — grouping a month's worth of patient invoices into a single batch. Choose your submission window (1st to 7th of each month) so your accounts team has time to review and reconcile before anything goes to LHDN.
Clinic managers who previously submitted invoices individually have told us the consolidated approach gives them more confidence in their submissions — they catch corrections before the batch goes out, rather than chasing individual errors after the fact.
MSIC Code Included
e-Invoice submissions now automatically include your clinic's MSIC (Malaysia Standard Industrial Classification) code, meeting LHDN requirements. Configure it once in your settings.
Smarter Booking Forms That Adapt to Each Patient
The fast booking form now adapts its required fields based on the booking type. Need an IC number for panel patients but not for cash walk-ins? Need an email for new patients but not returning ones? You can configure all of this — removing unnecessary friction from the booking process while still capturing the data your clinic needs.
Chinese Character Support in PDFs
All PDF documents — invoices, prescriptions, letters, and reports — now render Chinese characters correctly. This is especially valuable for TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) practices where treatment names and herb prescriptions are written in Chinese, and for clinics serving Chinese-speaking patients who prefer bilingual documentation.
Quality Improvements
This update also includes improved appointment calendar accessibility with better colour contrast, default payment notes that auto-populate on new payments, optional product item codes, additional patient title options, faster treatment note loading, and improvements to data export filtering and report accuracy. Every update is deployed automatically — no action needed from your team.
“Consolidated e-invoicing gives your accounts team the control they need. Review at month-end, submit in batch, and move on — instead of chasing individual invoices throughout the month.”
